“101, Milky Way” is a true treasure from Klaus Schulze’s musical legacy. It is one of those KS works that absolutely must be presented to the world, and as such it is part of our obligation to share all of his music with you all. And of course, as always, the genesis of this album has its very own story: it all began in late 2008 with a request from a German film production company asking if Klaus might do the soundtrack for a planned film documentary about computer hackers. This eventually turned into a complete KS album, from which the director of the documentary “Hacker – Alex Biedermann” was to use only small parts as soft background music. With “101, Milky Way”, the complete work is now available for the first time – a greeting from Klaus’ new cosmic home somewhere in the universe.
