With a vision and vocal style that is as unique as it is precise and all-encompassing, Lisa Gerrard has established herself as one of the world’s most acclaimed film composers and vocalists, even winning a Golden Globe for her work on the ‘Gladiator’ soundtrack with Hans Zimmer. Her musical journey began in the early 1980s, when she and fellow Australian Brendan Perry formed the duo Dead Can Dance – with nine albums released between 1984 and 1995.
