Description

Audio Vaults releases on CD the recording of a concert held by Pink Floyd on 13 August 1971 at the Festival Hall in Melbourne. The still unreleased “Echoes” from “Meddle” is the new addition to a setlist opened by a performance without an orchestra of “Atom Heart Mother” and which continues with the classic repertoire of the period: the ballads “Green Is The Colour” and “Cymbaline” from the soundtrack of the film “More”, the space rock “Set The Controls For The Heart Of The Sun” from “A Saucerful Of Secrets” and the equally psychedelic and inevitable “Careful With That Axe, Eugene”, also released in 1968 as the B-side of the single “Point Me At The Sky”.
