To me, Wave World‘s concert at the Quantum/Groove promotional festival at the 30th of October 1999 was an absolute surprise. The fantastic ambient sounds of this Dutch duo blended excellent with the beautiful computer-animated images by Virtual Factory”.
The duo consists of Harry Kessels and Gert van Santen and the latter has already won a contest of German magazine “Keyboards”. The price was interesting: his piece “Biosphere” (how fitting!) got produced by no-one less than Klaus Schulze. A lot of spectators to the concert

Quantum Records is a music label from The Netherlands, with an emphasis on electronic music. To my knowledge, the label is not very prolific, but the few CDs I have heard are of very good quality. Wave World is Harry Kessels and Gert van Santen, and Species is an excellent CD that is not easily pigeonholed into a certain genre of instrumental music. Parts are symphonic, sounding like a soundtrack, such as the opening song, The Quest”. Other parts
